Owain shared on social media, “I had some problematic polyps in my gallbladder, leading to its removal. All is well now. I am deeply thankful to the exceptional staff at West Ward 6 and the surgical team at Llandough Hospital for their care.”

Acknowledging his temporary absence, Owain mentioned being looked after by Nurse Franny and Dr. Arran. He praised the NHS for its support to his family during various health challenges, including cancer care for his father and MS treatment for his mother, as well as saving Arran’s life in the past.
