“Kaye Adams Removed from BBC Radio Show Amid Internal Complaint”

Must read

Kaye Adams has reportedly been removed from her BBC radio show after an internal complaint. The 62-year-old has been asked to step back from her role on Mornings With Kaye Adams while the BBC investigates the complaint.

Adams, who has hosted the three-hour phone-in show on BBC Radio Scotland since 2010, has not been on air since October 6. BBC Scotland declined to comment on the matter but clarified that Adams has not permanently left the organization, emphasizing their rigorous internal processes for addressing such concerns.

The allegation is believed to have been raised under the BBC’s Call It Out initiative, designed to tackle workplace misconduct. Adams, a longstanding presenter on ITV’s Loose Women, denied the allegations through her representative, stating that no complaints have been formally presented to her by the BBC in her more than 15 years with BBC Radio Scotland.

During the ongoing investigation, Connie McLaughlin has filled in for Adams on air. Recently, Adams shared details of a health scare she experienced after attending a Pilates class, where she felt symptoms of dizziness and imbalance, fearing she was having a stroke.

Despite the unsettling experience, Adams revealed on a podcast that the incident was attributed to vertigo caused by dislodged crystals in her ear. As investigations continue, Adams’ absence from her show remains, with no official comments on the outcome of the internal complaint.
