“Siblings Caught on Video Vandalizing UK Home”

Must read

Shocking video footage captured the moment two siblings vandalized a woman’s residence by throwing objects through her windows. Harry and Alistair Palmer were filmed hurling items from the front yard at a house in a coastal village in the UK. The disturbing video depicted Alistair, 33, aggressively banging on the door while Harry, 32, observed from the garden.

Despite demanding the occupants to come out, no one responded to the loud voices coming from inside the property during the unsettling incident. The brothers departed briefly but returned 30 minutes later, continuing to yell, curse, and demand the residents to exit the house. Alistair, residing on the same street, could be heard shouting obscenities while urging the occupants to come outside. Subsequently, they threw objects, including a small bucket, at the windows, causing damage amounting to around £350.

After failing to draw anyone out, Harry, hailing from Herne Bay, took the Ring doorbell before they left the scene. The brothers were apprehended, with Harry confessing to criminal damage and theft, while Alistair admitted to criminal damage but was not charged for the stolen device. Both siblings pled guilty to the charges at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 12.

According to prosecutor Lucie Fish, the brothers broke the windows of the unoccupied house during their return visit. The stolen device recorded them swearing while causing the destruction, as they were reportedly seeking a former partner of the homeowner. During the court proceedings in September, defense lawyer Richard Graham requested pre-sentencing reports, noting that the property had been burned down but clarifying that the brothers were uninvolved in the incident.

Following the review of pre-sentencing reports, both men awaited their sentencing at the same court on Wednesday, October 22. Harry received a 12-month community order, 50 hours of unpaid work, £175 compensation to the homeowner, and £357 in fines and costs. Alistair, due to a brain condition, was deemed unsuitable for unpaid work and was placed on an 18-month community order, including a two-week tagged curfew, rehabilitation sessions, and financial penalties.
