Despite her usual proficiency in pastry-making, Briony faced unexpected difficulties resulting in an unsuccessful seven veils cake with overcooked mirror glaze and undercooked pastry layers. She shared her experience of breaking down initially but finding solace in laughter after Paul’s off-camera response.
