Reality TV personality Kim Kardashian has revealed that her personal divorce attorney has played a significant role in shaping a new legal drama set to debut on screens in the near future.
Kim Kardashian is slated to feature in All’s Fair on Disney Plus and Hulu next month, alongside a star-studded cast that includes Glenn Close.
The upcoming series, spanning ten episodes, will focus on a group of female divorce lawyers who establish their own practice to break away from a male-dominated firm.
Scheduled to premiere on November 4, Disney Plus offers a glimpse into the show, stating: “A team of female divorce attorneys depart from a male-dominated firm to establish their own formidable practice.”
“In a world where money holds sway and love is a battlefield, these women not only participate in the game but also revolutionize it.”
During a press event for All’s Fair, Kim Kardashian shared the inspiration behind the legal drama series, which was developed by Ryan Murphy, Joe Baken, and Jon Robin Baitz.
She mentioned, “We consulted with Laura Wasser, an exceptional family law attorney, drawing from her wealth of experiences, albeit anonymously. Laura represented me in two of my divorces. Her father was a remarkable family law divorce attorney who also represented my mother in her divorce from my father.”
“Growing up, she has been exposed to numerous stories of challenging scenarios in family law.”
Kim further explained, “It’s not a straightforward task, but consulting with someone with such a diverse array of stories that we can draw from has been beneficial. For each episode, we analyze a case and assist someone truly in need.”
“Therefore, I believe that through personal encounters and consultation with one of the best in her field, we have crafted a compelling show.”
Kim Kardashian has undergone three divorces, with the most recent one occurring in 2022 when her marriage to Kanye West ended.
“All’s Fair will premiere on Disney Plus on November 4.”
