A UK tourist has tragically passed away while staying at a hotel in Belize, with neighbors reporting a disturbing noise.
The 52-year-old individual arrived at Caye Caulker island in Belize on Monday and had checked into the Casa Vista Hotel. Within a day of his arrival, neighbors heard a loud thud.
Upon investigating, they discovered the man unconscious on the ground. He was promptly taken to the Caye Caulker Health Center.
Despite medical efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries later that evening. Authorities have initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death.
The Sun quoted officer Stacy Smith as saying: “On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, police officers from the Caye Caulker division visited the Caye Caulker Health Clinic following a report of an unconscious male individual at the location.
“He later succumbed to the injuries that were visible on his body that evening. Initial information suggests that multiple residents in the vicinity heard a noise, and upon investigation, found him on the ground, after which he was promptly taken to the clinic for medical attention.”
The cause of the man’s injuries remains unclear at this time. This incident follows the recent death of another British national on the island of Malta.
