In an official statement, the police stated, “Following an incident where an individual was injured around 2:20 pm on Kings Road, Reading, two arrests have been made. A 17-year-old male from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and possessing a bladed item on school premises. Similarly, a 16-year-old male from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.”
The statement continued, “Both individuals are in custody, and there are no plans for additional arrests at this moment. The victim, a teenager, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and has been discharged from the hospital.”
