Paige Bueckers led the Dallas Wings to a 94-88 victory over the Toronto Tempo on Wednesday, scoring all 22 of her points in the second half. Bueckers had a strong performance in the third quarter, going 4 for 4 from the field and the free-throw line after a slow start in the first half where she missed all seven of her shots. Arike Ogunbowale added 21 points, hitting 13 of 14 free throws, while Alanna Smith contributed 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Awak Kuier scored 14 points.

The Wings ended a three-game losing streak, their longest of the season, despite missing key players Jessica Shepard and Azzi Fudd due to injuries. Marina Mabrey of the Tempo scored 14 of her 23 points in the fourth quarter, helping her team cut the deficit to just three points after being down by 18 late in the third.

Bueckers showcased her all-around game with eight assists and three steals, including a crucial steal that led to a breakaway layup to extend the Wings’ lead. She finished the game with 7 of 11 shooting after halftime and made all seven of her free throws in the second half. Laura Juskaite scored 18 points and Kia Nurse added 16 for Toronto, who were missing starters Brittney Sykes and Julie Allemand.
