The 80-year-old, who shares two children, Andrew and Elizabeth, from a previous relationship with Carl Littlejohn, rarely discusses her family obligations. However, she opened up about the guilt she feels for not meeting her children’s expectations as a grandmother. Lesley admitted that her career sometimes overshadowed her family responsibilities, confessing that she has missed out on typical grandparent activities like the school run and babysitting due to her inability to turn down acting opportunities.
In a rare moment of vulnerability, Lesley disclosed her close bond with her late mother in 2016. Reflecting on the loss, she mentioned the unique challenges of losing a parent at a young age and later in life, emphasizing the lasting impact her mother had on her.
