Apple has recently unveiled the iPhone 17e, offering significant upgrades at an attractive price point. Priced at £599, the device features a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging, sturdy construction, and an impressive single-lens camera – all at a £200 discount compared to the flagship iPhone model.
In addition to Apple’s new release, Samsung has announced the launch of its latest smartphones, the A57 and A37, starting at just £399. While these models may not match the performance or charging capabilities of the iPhone 17e, they boast a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, providing smoother scrolling and gaming experiences compared to the 60Hz display on the iPhone.
The Galaxy A57 and A37 come equipped with large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and P68 water and dust resistance ratings. Samsung has integrated advanced AI features into these devices, such as Google’s Circle to Search for quick web queries and enhanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions.
Moreover, the phones offer improved Voice Transcription functionality, allowing users to transcribe call recordings and convert voicemail messages into text easily. Samsung has committed to providing long-term support for the Galaxy A57 and A37, promising up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security patches.
Both models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th, with the Galaxy A57 5G priced from £529 (256GB) and the Galaxy A37 5G starting at £399 (128GB). The Galaxy A57 5G will be offered in Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac colors, while the Galaxy A37 5G will come in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White options.
