Hamas militants have reportedly brutally injured around 500 Palestinians in Gaza by kneecapping them, as stated by human rights lawyer Moumen Al-Natour in an interview with the Mirror via WhatsApp. Al-Natour disclosed that the gunmen are specifically targeting individuals who oppose them, resulting in fatalities and numerous leg injuries.
Moreover, they have launched a website named “Grab a Collaborator” to intimidate those perceived as collaborating with Israelis. Al-Natour highlighted that many of these assaults are occurring within hospitals, estimating that approximately 150 people have already lost their lives.
Al-Natour, a 31-year-old anti-Hamas activist leading a youth organization, is currently in hiding from Hamas due to his outspoken stance against the group. He expressed his shock at the violent activities of Hamas in areas previously vacated by Israel under the Trump peace agreement.
He further detailed the use of hospitals like Shifa in Gaza City by Hamas to capture and harm civilians, including children, based on their family connections. Despite being targeted himself, Al-Natour managed to escape and emphasized the urgent need for intervention to protect the vulnerable in Gaza controlled by Hamas.
Al-Natour called for increased efforts to improve living conditions and governance in areas under Israeli control to benefit the Palestinian population. The situation remains tense as Hamas continues its violent campaign against perceived dissidents, posing a significant challenge to stability in the region.
