Helen Flanagan has criticized her former partner, Scott Sinclair, for their challenging co-parenting arrangement, which will prevent her from spending Christmas with their children.
Speaking at the Pride of Britain awards to the Mirror, Helen expressed her disappointment at not having plans with her children for the festive season due to the difficulties of co-parenting. She mentioned the geographical distance between them, with her residing in the north of Manchester and him in Bath, making it challenging to co-parent effectively.
As she prepares to release a forthcoming book detailing her life and relationships, Helen shared her reluctance to be separated from her children on Christmas Day, describing the situation as unnatural. Despite this, she humorously stated that she will keep herself occupied during the holiday season by participating in a pantomime where she will play the role of the Evil Queen of Liverpool.
On Christmas Day, Helen will be spending time with her mother, father, brother, sister-in-law, and her nephew. Although she will miss her children on Christmas, she is looking forward to having them with her for New Year’s celebrations.
Helen and Scott, who were engaged in 2018 and share two daughters and a son, ended their relationship in October 2022. Sources close to the couple revealed that they decided to split following a rough patch after Helen returned from filming “I’m A Celebrity” in South Africa.
In previous interviews, Helen disclosed that she initiated the breakup, highlighting the on-and-off nature of their relationship. Despite not getting along with Scott, she acknowledged that they both care for each other but have reached a point where they cannot continue the relationship due to constant disagreements.
