“Netflix’s Hit ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ Filmed on $150M Yacht”

Must read

The top film currently trending on Netflix is “The Woman in Cabin 10,” featuring Keira Knightley in the role of investigative journalist Lo Blacklock. The story follows her journey on a prestigious cruise where she becomes convinced she witnessed a guest being thrown overboard, leading her to confront the truth.

Filmed predominantly on a luxurious superyacht named Savannah valued at $150 million, the movie takes creative liberties with the yacht’s design. While the film showcases guest cabins with private balconies, the actual yacht has enclosed staterooms. Certain scenes set in cabins and corridors were recreated at Shepperton Studios.

Savannah’s interior is renowned for its elegant and serene ambiance, characterized by the absence of straight corridors. In addition to the main saloon, the yacht features a pool terrace with a spectacular mirrored ceiling resembling a starry sky. The main deck passageway boasts impressive five-meter-high video walls displaying captivating abstract visuals and marine life footage.

Accommodating up to 12 guests in six suites, Savannah’s private owner’s deck was used for some of the film’s more intimate scenes. Notably, the yacht’s standout feature is the Nemo Lounge, a space with curved glass walls that can be transformed into a cinema by deploying a retractable screen. The stern area includes a striking nine-meter mosaic-tiled pool as part of a multi-level beach club.

Recognized for its innovative design and engineering, Savannah has garnered six significant awards for its exceptional features and functionality.
