Throughout her career, Shani was married to Bernie Rich, an American agent, until his passing in 2016. Raised in Tottenham, London, Shani’s early dance training and RADA education paved the way for her successful acting career. She has criticized plans for a remake of “Oliver,” asserting that the original film is flawless and should not be altered.
