Samsung has officially announced that the upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones will be revealed later this month during the Galaxy Unpacked event. The event, hosted by the tech giant, is scheduled to take place in San Francisco on February 25.
During the event, Samsung is expected to unveil the new Samsung Galaxy S26 series, comprising the standard S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra models. For those eager to watch the event live, Galaxy Unpacked will be broadcasted on the Samsung website starting at 6pm GMT.
To entice fans, Samsung is offering various incentives for those who register their interest in advance. By signing up, participants can receive a £30 voucher for Galaxy ecosystem products, double the storage capacity when pre-ordering a new phone, and a chance to win one of 10 £500 Samsung vouchers.
Samsung introduced Galaxy Unpacked earlier this month, emphasizing that the new smartphones are designed to enhance daily life through integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. The company stated that the new Galaxy S series represents a significant advancement in the age of AI.
Leading up to the launch, retailers are reducing prices for the current Galaxy S25 range in preparation for the arrival of its successor. For instance, Sky Mobile has slashed the price of the S25 Ultra from £43 to £31 per month, saving customers £432. However, this offer requires a 36-month contract commitment and comes with a 100MB data limit.
Customers can also benefit from discounts at Amazon, where the standard S25 and S25 Ultra models are available at 20% off when purchased outright, with savings of nearly £250 on selected models. These devices are currently priced at £639.20 and £999.20, respectively, down from the original prices of £799 and £1,249. The promotion is valid until February 24 or while supplies last.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event will be live-streamed on Samsung.com at 6pm on February 25, with interested fans able to register for the event on the website.
