“Seven Banks Offering Free Cash Rewards for Christmas”

Must read

Martin Lewis, the founder of MoneySavingExpert (MSE), has unveiled that seven banks are currently offering free cash rewards before the upcoming Christmas season. By simply opening an account, individuals can earn £100 without the need to switch banks, as highlighted in the MSE newsletter.

Switching bank accounts has been made easy through the Current Account Switch Service (CASS), ensuring the safe transfer of money between accounts within seven working days.

Barclays, Club Lloyd, TSB, First Direct, Nationwide, and NatWest are among the banks competing to attract new customers by offering free cash incentives, bonuses, and exclusive perks. Additionally, Santander is providing a £100 Amazon gift voucher upon opening an account, a timely offer with the holiday season fast approaching.

For high earners, Barclays Premier bank account is offering a generous £400 cash reward to be paid by December 9, along with a complimentary subscription to Apple TV+. However, individuals must have an annual income of £75,000 or more to qualify for this offer, according to MSE.com as reported by the Daily Record.

For those who do not meet the high-income requirement, an alternative Barclays switch deal offers £200 in free cash and a free Apple TV+ subscription by joining Barclays’ Blue Rewards scheme. Although the scheme carries a £5 monthly fee, it can be canceled after receiving the switch bonus, with the payout also scheduled for December 9.

Other enticing offers include First Direct’s £175 bonus with an interest-free overdraft and access to a high-interest savings account, as well as Club Lloyds’ £200 bonus with a monthly fee attached. Nationwide is providing a £175 bonus within 10 days of switching, along with additional cashback benefits and a linked regular saver account with an attractive interest rate.
