It’s that time of the year when thoughts of Christmas shopping may start to arise. Even though Halloween and Bonfire Night are still ahead, many stores have already opened up their festive delivery slots, allowing shoppers to secure everything they need before December 25.
While Sainsbury’s, ASDA, and Morrisons are among the supermarkets that have made these slots available, Tesco’s opening is still pending. The slots for this year will be accessible starting at 6 am on November 4 for Delivery Saver customers who are subscribed to regular shopping deliveries.
Non-Delivery Saver customers will gain access to Christmas slots starting at 6 am on November 11, just a week later. Tesco’s Christmas 2025 collection showcases numerous customer favorites and over 260 new items, with many items hitting shelves as early as September 1.
Breige Donaghy, Tesco’s Director of Product Development & Innovation, expressed earlier this year, “Christmas is a significant time of the year for many of our customers, and at Tesco, we aim to make every bite memorable! We understand the importance of the festive season to our customers, and thus, we have introduced a remarkable 268 new products to our Christmas range. From luxurious showstoppers in our Finest collection to innovative takes on traditional favorites, there is something to suit every palate and budget.”
Among the new offerings, Tesco presents an Alpine-inspired grazing platter featuring various meats, cheeses, bread, pickles, and a honey and rosemary drizzle. Additionally, customers can enjoy building their own Charcuter-tree, which includes a selection of ham, chorizo, cheese, and olives.
For those interested in scheduling a Tesco Christmas order from November, the deadline is 11:45 pm on December 14. Deliveries will occur between December 20 and 24, or on December 21 to 23 in Northern Ireland.
Specific delivery slots may vary across stores, but most will provide slots for December 24. Ms. Donaghy reiterated in her statement from July, “Whether you are planning an extravagant Christmas Day feast, stocking up on nostalgic treats, or hosting a party where you want to impress effortlessly, we have you covered. This year, it’s all about creating magical moments and delicious memories.”
