The incident happened in the early hours of the morning while the man was accompanied by his partner. He sustained injuries to his arm from the knife attack and was admitted to Sao Jose Hospital in the Portuguese capital. The thieves absconded with a gold necklace that belonged to the couple.
The assault took place around 12:40 am near Lisbon’s renowned Miradouro da Graca viewpoint, as per local media sources. The specific site was identified as Arco do Graca Street, a popular location known for its panoramic vistas of the historic city center.
