A 28-year-old woman in Indonesia has admitted to cutting off her partner’s genitals out of jealousy. Windi Sintia committed the violent act as a response to her partner’s infidelity with another woman. The man’s penis was severed during intercourse with a penknife, causing him to run into the streets seeking help. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital where surgeons successfully reattached his severed organ.
Sintia, who was apprehended by law enforcement on October 21, expressed her frustration stating, “Our relationship felt like a marriage, but he continued to deceive and cheat. I was furious and disillusioned.” She accused her partner of being unfaithful to both her and his wife with multiple women, confessing, “I have some remorse for my actions, but mostly I feel content. I am finally content.”
Her defense team has requested a delay in Sintia’s potential incarceration, highlighting her responsibility as a mother to an eight-year-old child who needs her care.
