Fourth-ranked Felix Auger-Aliassime leads the Canadian team set to compete in the upcoming Davis Cup qualifiers in Quebec City next month. Tennis Canada announced that Auger-Aliassime will be accompanied by fellow Montreal resident Gabriel Diallo, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario. The Canadian team, currently ranked 12th in the tournament, is scheduled to face sixth-ranked France in a best-of-five tie at the Videotron Centre. The victor will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals to be held in November. Canada narrowly defeated Brazil 3-2 in the previous round of qualifiers last February, while France earned their qualification by overcoming Slovakia with a 3-1 victory.
