British comedy film “Dog Person” will feature Hugh Bonneville, known for his role in Downton Abbey, alongside James Norton from Happy Valley. The movie, directed by Tanya Reynolds of Netflix’s Sex Education fame, follows a dental receptionist in her thirties navigating a world of pressures and fantasies.

The storyline revolves around the protagonist, a 33-year-old dental patient, who embarks on an unexpected journey when she visits a new dentist after breaking a tooth. Reynolds, Norton, and Bonneville will star in the film, which explores themes of self-discovery and societal expectations.

Reynolds mentioned that the film delves into a woman’s exploration of a new fetish later in life while balancing the challenges of fertility. Despite its unconventional premise, the director assures that viewers will relate to the main character’s journey.

Producer Vaughan Sivell expressed excitement about the project, praising Reynolds’ script for its humor and authenticity. Filming for “Dog Person” is scheduled to commence in London and Wales in March, with the release date yet to be confirmed.
