“EE Introduces Data Parachute: Free 1GB Data Boost”

Must read

EE has introduced new SIM plans to address a common issue faced by many customers – running out of data while on the go due to increased file downloads and streaming activities like Netflix. These new pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE come with a complimentary feature called “Data Parachute,” which automatically provides users with 1GB of free data if they unexpectedly run out.

According to EE, the “Data Parachute” feature aims to keep customers connected by offering a temporary data boost for essential tasks such as staying in touch with friends, using Maps for navigation, or other online activities until they can top up their data.

Starting at £10 per month, these new plans not only include Data Parachute but also offer additional benefits such as data rollover, which carries forward any unused data to the next month, and free data boosts to enhance customers’ data allowances. EE pay-as-you-go customers also gain access to the 5G network for improved performance and faster speeds.

The pricing for the new plans is as follows:

– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited

While other providers may not offer a feature like Data Parachute, there are competitive deals in the market. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited for £20, while Giffgaff offers 75GB for £10 per month and 60GB for £13. It is advisable for consumers to compare different deals and choose a plan that meets their data needs to avoid unnecessary costs.
