Must read

Three individuals lost their lives in separate road accidents in Quebec overnight. In the first incident around 12:30 a.m., emergency responders were summoned to the location where a vehicle had swerved off Route 132 East, near Chemin Mistral, in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, as stated in a press release from the Sûreté du Québec. The driver, a 35-year-old man who was the sole occupant, seemed to have lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons and was pronounced dead at the scene. Following the accident, the road was temporarily closed but reopened by approximately 4:45 a.m.

Subsequently, at approximately 3:20 a.m., emergency services were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on Route 138 near Franquelin. The SQ reported that four individuals were in the vehicle when the driver apparently lost control of the car for unspecified reasons. Despite being rushed to the hospital, one of the occupants succumbed to injuries, while the remaining three are in critical condition with their lives at risk. Two out of the three lanes in the vicinity of the crash site were shut down on Sunday morning.

A third car accident was reported around 6 a.m. on Route 138 in Saint-Tite-des-Caps. The SQ disclosed that, under circumstances yet to be determined, the eastbound-travelling vehicle veered out of its lane, leading to loss of control and multiple rollovers. The car carried a man and a woman in their 30s, both of whom sustained severe injuries and were promptly taken to the hospital. Regrettably, the 37-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries at the medical facility, while the man remains in critical condition, as per the SQ.
