“Keith Urban Interview Leads to Radio Show Cancellation”

Must read

An Australian radio program has been canceled after a controversial incident involving Keith Urban. The musician, aged 57, appeared on Hayley & Max In The Morning, a show hosted by Max Burford and Hayley Pearson for almost a year. This occurred shortly before news broke of Urban and Nicole Kidman ending their nearly two-decade marriage, with Kidman filing for divorce. The interview took a turn when Urban was questioned about Kidman’s intimate scenes with Zac Efron in the film A Family Affair, leading Urban to abruptly end the interview.

Following the viral incident, the radio station announced that the Mix102.3 show would air its final episode on December 12, revealing plans for a new live breakfast show in 2026 with a focus on unique content. This announcement came after another show, Robin, Kip & Corey Oates in Brisbane, was also axed by the network, with gratitude expressed for the team’s dedication.

Despite the network not disclosing future plans, there was speculation surrounding the fallout with Urban. The divorce proceedings outlined a detailed parenting arrangement, designating Kidman as the primary residential parent for the majority of the year, emphasizing a positive co-parenting approach post-divorce.

Both Urban and Kidman are reported not to seek financial support, with assets to be divided equally. The divorce process, which began before the public announcement, is subject to a mandatory 90-day waiting period under Tennessee law. This marked Kidman’s second divorce and Urban’s first marriage, with both reflecting on their relationship publicly in the past.
