“Mystery Woman ‘Madeline’ Speaks Out on Lily Allen’s Album Drama”

Must read

The woman referenced as “Madeline” in Lily Allen’s latest album, addressing her ex-husband David Harbour’s infidelity, has broken her silence. After the release of the song West End Girl, there was much speculation about the mysterious woman mentioned in the lyrics.

The woman, now identified as Natalie Tippett, a 34-year-old single mother and costume designer from New Orleans, has confirmed her role in Lily’s split from Stranger Things actor David Harbour. While acknowledging the song’s reference to her, Natalie has chosen to remain discreet about the details, citing her family’s privacy as a priority.

Natalie reportedly crossed paths with David during the filming of the Netflix movie We Have A Ghost in 2021, where she was part of the costume team. Allegedly, their affair began shortly after the project commenced in New Orleans.

The affair came to light when Lily discovered a text on her husband’s phone, which she later addressed in her song Tennis from the same album. The lyrics hint at the betrayal and question the nature of the relationship between David and the woman named Madeline.

Despite being aware of her inclusion in Lily’s song, Natalie has refrained from commenting further on the matter. Lily and David parted ways in January, with Lily revealing her struggles with panic attacks and emotional distress following the separation.

In recent interviews, Lily shared her challenges in coping with the divorce without resorting to drugs or alcohol, highlighting her journey towards sobriety over the past five years. David Harbour has chosen not to publicly address the split, expressing his disdain for sensationalizing personal matters.
