This router incorporates technology that can automatically recognize harmful websites, alerting users to potential malware or other online dangers. Additionally, it can identify hacker attempts to access smart home devices like internet-connected cameras and prevent suspicious activities before they escalate.
Users will have the ability to monitor detected threats through the Hub Threat Protect feature on the MyBT app. These enhancements aim to boost online security for households and proactively defend against cyber threats.
In addition to security, performance optimization remains a primary focus. The Smart Hub 3 supports Complete Wi-Fi Plus, which extends signal coverage across the home and diminishes dead zones in weaker areas.
The Smart Hub 3 has a sleek and minimalist design, as observed in images shared online by Mirror. Notably, this router supports Wi-Fi 6 technology rather than the newer Wi-Fi 7 standard present in some competitor devices, such as EE routers.
