A social media figure known as the “human Barbie” was found deceased and partially unclothed at the residence of a government official.
Barbara Jankavski Marquez, aged 31, was tragically discovered dead after a 51-year-old public defender informed authorities that he had engaged her for “intimate services” the previous evening. The official, residing in the same house where the deceased influencer was located on Sunday, alleged that both had consumed substances as she began coughing repeatedly and eventually appeared to fall asleep while they were watching television in the Lapa region of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The official reported that he attempted to administer first aid for approximately nine minutes, realizing she had ceased movement, before contacting emergency services.
Medical personnel pronounced the social media personality deceased around 9 pm, discovering her lying on her back clad only in undergarments, with an injury to her left eye and markings on her back.
An associate of the public defender, a 43-year-old female, informed investigators that she had been at the residence earlier that day but was not present when “human Barbie” passed away. The individual mentioned witnessing the influencer slip and fall around 4 am, resulting in an eye injury.
Law enforcement disclosed that the incident was documented as a questionable death and indicated they are awaiting forensic and toxicology reports to ascertain the cause of demise.
According to officials, both witnesses will be summoned for further interrogation, and family members of the influencer are anticipated to be interviewed as part of the ongoing investigation.
Barbara, recognized online as “Boneca Desumana” (‘Inhuman Doll’), boasted over 344,000 followers on TikTok and 55,000 on Instagram, where she documented her extensive cosmetic enhancement journey.
She underwent a minimum of 27 cosmetic procedures amounting to more than £43
