According to Moore, Flett left with her grandmother that night to stay over at her aunt’s place. The most recent sighting of Flett was reported in Prince Albert between June 16 and 17 near John Diefenbaker School and the intersection of Marquis Road and Central Avenue. She was seen wearing a grey/red hoodie, blue Christmas pajama pants, and a black fanny pack.
Described as Indigenous, Flett stands at approximately five-foot-four, weighs around 115 pounds, and has black/reddish hair with brown eyes. Moore expressed her longing for Flett’s safe return, assuring her daughter that the family eagerly awaits her at home with open arms. She urged Flett, if she is hesitant to return, to know that she is loved and not in trouble.
Authorities are seeking any information regarding Flett’s disappearance or whereabouts. Major crimes Insp. Lisa Simonson emphasized the importance of direct communication with the police, urging individuals not to assume that information has already been provided by someone else. She highlighted that even seemingly minor details could play a crucial role in tracing Flett’s movements and aiding in her discovery.
Given Flett’s age and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, the major crimes unit has taken charge of the investigation. Simonson emphasized the unit’s expertise in handling complex cases like missing persons investigations, ensuring a thorough and dedicated investigative approach.
