Film enthusiasts and celebrities are converging on the largest city in Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The 51st installment of TIFF, commencing on Thursday for an 11-day run, showcases nearly 300 films and renowned actors like Javier Bardem, Cynthia Erivo, and Seth Rogen.

Director Michael Dowse praises Baruchel’s portrayal of Canadian daredevil Ken Carter in “The Stunt Driver,” citing his performance in the film “Blackberry” as the deciding factor.
