Andrew Tate is set to make his debut in Misfits Boxing later this year against the promotion’s heavyweight champion, Chase DeMoor. Tate, aged 38, has a background in combat sports, particularly in kickboxing where he was a four-time champion before retiring due to eye injuries affecting his final fights.
The influencer had been considering a switch to boxing, with names like Darren Till and Roy Jones Jr initially mentioned as potential opponents. However, it has been confirmed that Tate will face DeMoor, the current 29-year-old heavyweight champion who successfully defended his title against Natan Marcon in August.
While Till may have missed the opportunity to fight Tate, the former UFC title challenger is expected to feature on the undercard, although his opponent has yet to be announced. The event, titled Misfits Mania, is set to take place on December 20 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai.
The fight timings are yet to be finalized, but the main card is likely to start around 6pm UK time, with Tate expected to enter the ring at approximately 9pm UK time. The event will not be broadcasted on DAZN, and it will probably be offered as a pay-per-view event.
