Former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson and her partner, professional dancer Gorka Marquez, have evolved as a couple since meeting on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2017. They are now parents to two children, Mia aged six and Thiago aged two, and have launched a new podcast called Lost in Translation.
In an interview with OK! magazine, the couple shared insights into their podcast, discussing each other’s annoying habits and cultural differences. Gemma mentioned that one of their major clashes is over food preferences, with Gorka not being a fan of some of Gemma’s favorite childhood dishes.
Despite their differences, Gemma and Gorka acknowledged that their contrasting personalities complement each other. Gorka described himself as a perfectionist, while Gemma joked about her more laid-back approach, including their differing sock-folding techniques.
While Gorka is busy with his role as a judge on the Spanish version of Strictly, Gemma and their children enjoy watching the show as a family tradition. The couple also noted their children’s interest in music and dancing, hinting at potential future talents.
Listeners can tune in to Lost In Translation on various platforms such as the Rayo app, Apple, Amazon Music, Spotify, and other podcast platforms. For more entertainment news, follow Mirror Celebs on Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Threads.
