Derek Martin, a 67-year-old grandfather, committed a heinous act by fatally attacking his stepdaughter, Chloe Bashford, 30, with a hammer in her home. He then proceeded to stab her eight times and later killed her husband, Josh, 33, by stabbing and strangling him. The brutal incident occurred after an argument over money, during which Martin lost control and resorted to violence.
