An 18-year-old nursery worker, Thomas Waller, has been sentenced for a series of offenses after sexually assaulting a three-year-old boy in a school toilet. Waller, a newly qualified nursery worker, targeted his young victims at the school where he was employed. The court heard that he developed a relationship with one three-year-old boy over Paw Patrol before carrying out the sexual assault in the toilet.
The mother of the child described Waller as a “very dangerous individual,” expressing her shock and fear over his calculated actions. She recounted how her son disclosed the abuse to her in simple terms, leading her to take immediate action by reporting the incident to the nursery staff, who then involved the police. Waller, from Surrey, was found guilty of rape, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and taking indecent images of children at Staines Magistrates Court.
During sentencing at Guildford Crown Court, Waller was handed a 10-year jail term for his heinous acts on children as young as three. The prosecution emphasized the severity of the crimes, stating that they were too serious to be handled by the youth court. Despite being confronted by journalists after the sentencing, Waller remained uncooperative and declined to comment on his actions or show remorse for the harm he caused to the young victims.
