Prince Harry found himself in an awkward situation when asked about the alleged rift between Taylor Swift and Charli XCX. It appears that Taylor has been avoiding any association with the royal couple, declining invitations to participate in Meghan’s podcasts, which have since been canceled.
During an interview with comedian Hasan Minhaj, Harry seemed puzzled when questioned about Taylor’s latest album and the rumored feud with Charli XCX. Despite the comedian’s persistence in discussing the singers’ ‘diss tracks,’ Harry appeared clueless and simply smiled and nodded.
The conversation revolved around Charli’s song “Sympathy Is A Knife” from her album “Brat,” believed to address her insecurities around Taylor. In response, Taylor’s track “Actually Romantic” is said to criticize the subject matter of Charli’s song as obsessive and unkind.
Unlike his brother Prince William, who has openly enjoyed Taylor’s music, Harry seemed out of the loop on the ongoing feud. Taylor had previously engaged with Prince William, performing with him and Jon Bon Jovi at a charity event in 2013.
It is worth noting that Meghan, like her brother-in-law, is also a fan of Taylor Swift, attending her Eras Tour in 2023. However, Taylor declined invitations to feature on Meghan’s podcasts, despite personal outreach from the Duchess.
