The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season with a home game, marking the 14th time in 15 years that they have started the season at their home arena. The NBA unveiled the complete schedule for the 2026-27 season, with the Raptors’ first game scheduled for October 21 against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena. Following this, the team will hit the road for their next game against the Washington Wizards two days later.
Noteworthy matchups at home include consecutive games against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, on November 15 and 17, as well as a faceoff against Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on December 10 and Canadian talent Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10. January will be the Raptors’ busiest month, featuring 17 games, including a six-game homestand. Additionally, they will have 15 back-to-back games during the season, with seven of them not requiring any travel.
The schedule includes 80 out of Toronto’s 82 games, with the remaining two games to be scheduled following the conclusion of the in-season NBA Cup tournament group stage. However, the Raptors will not be part of the Christmas Day lineup, a tradition they have missed since 2019 when they were the defending NBA champions.
