Sci-fi enthusiasts are puzzled by a recent sighting of an unidentified flying object (UFO) near an active volcano. Video footage captured by a webcam shows a glowing object hovering above the Popocatepetl crater in Mexico, before swiftly flying away at high speeds. The UFO seemed to be observing the volcanic activity as smoke and flames erupted from the crater. This strange event was recorded by monitoring cameras at the base of the volcano.
Standing at 17,802 feet (5,426 meters), Popocatepetl is one of Mexico’s most active volcanoes. Despite 19 low-intensity eruptions on the day of the sighting, local authorities have not provided any statement regarding the mysterious object’s origin. The National Center for Disaster Prevention advised the public to stay clear of the crater and respect the 12-kilometer exclusion zone.
UFO expert Jaime Maussan previously suggested that Popocatepetl serves as an “inter-dimensional portal,” facilitating intergalactic travel between different locations. He explained that the volcano’s underground magnetic storms create X-points, allowing for the formation of a Dimensional Portal. X-points are areas where Earth’s magnetic field connects with that of the Sun, forming a path to the Sun’s atmosphere.
In a separate incident, a military investigation was launched following an aircraft crash near Area 51 in Groom Lake, Nevada. The crash involved an aircraft from the Creech Air Force Base’s 432nd wing, which handles unmanned aerial vehicles. Speculation among UFO enthusiasts has been fueled by the subsequent joint probe by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the FBI, prompting concerns about new security measures. Flight restrictions were imposed around Area 51 for national security reasons, with details of the incident remaining largely undisclosed.
