Topping the list is Winnington Road in Barnet, London, boasting an average asking price of £12,538,095. Following closely is Chester Square in Westminster, London, with an average asking price of £11,546,428, and The Bishops Avenue in Barnet, London, securing third place at £8,930,650.
Outside of London, East Road in Elmbridge, Surrey, emerges as the most expensive street, ranking in the top 20 with an average price of £8,795,714. Noteworthy mentions include Drumsheugh Gardens in Edinburgh at £560,000 as Scotland’s priciest street, and Hollybush Road in Cardiff at £1,237,500 as the top spot in Wales.
The data analysis conducted by Rightmove focuses on streets where at least five homes were available for sale in January of this year. Colleen Babcock, a property expert at Rightmove, highlighted the continued prominence of London addresses in the top 20, emphasizing the city’s stronghold on ultra-prime real estate. Elmbridge in Surrey stands out as the sole non-London area on the list, catering to buyers seeking prestigious locales away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
