“Co-op Loyalty Members Enjoy Personalized Online Offers”

Must read

Co-op has introduced a significant update for its online shoppers who are loyalty members. Members of Co-op can now take advantage of their personalized weekly offers to save money when making online purchases. Previously, these offers were exclusively accessible in physical stores.

The supermarket states that customers have the potential to save more than £80 annually by utilizing personalized offers, which include discounts and deals on items they regularly purchase. Furthermore, the recent online modifications allow any funds added to a membership card to be redeemed online, including game prizes and bonus offers.

When shopping through shop.coop, Co-op members can make use of personalized offers; however, this feature is not available when using third-party delivery apps like Deliveroo or Just Eat. Last year, Co-op expanded the number of personalized offers for its members by 67%, totaling over 700 offers, featuring popular brands such as Huel, Pop Chips, Actimel, Pilgrams Choice, and Vimto.

Co-op also recently announced that member price savings are now accessible to shoppers through platforms like Just Eat, Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Co-op’s own online store. Rachel Halter, Customer Director at Co-op, emphasized the importance of providing value to their members through online perks, aligning with the company’s commitment to increasing its membership to eight million by 2030.

Co-op currently boasts approximately seven million members, with a membership fee of £1. The company’s expansion plans include the opening of 18 new or upgraded stores in the first quarter of 2026. The first new store of the year opened in Willowbrook Park, Didcot in Oxfordshire.

In addition, Co-op aims to create thousands of new apprenticeships in the coming years, with a £70 million commitment to establishing 7,000 matched apprenticeships by 2030 through its Levy Share service. This initiative allows levy-paying employers to transfer unused apprenticeship levy funds to businesses, charities, and community organizations.

Since its inception four years ago, the scheme has facilitated over 3,800 apprenticeships, with a focus on supporting the most deprived communities and the care sector. Opt for Daily Mirror as your ‘Preferred Source’ on Google News for instant access to valued news content.
