Police are in pursuit of a woman who committed a sexual assault on a victim at a town park while her boyfriend was present. The incident occurred at Queensway Park in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, on Tuesday evening. According to authorities, a woman walking near the underpass was approached by another female who focused on her appearance and proceeded to touch her inappropriately. Subsequently, a man joined in, and when the victim’s boyfriend arrived, the suspect shook his hand before also touching him inappropriately. The pair then fled the scene.
The suspect is described by the police as a white woman, approximately 5ft 3in tall, and of medium build. She has untidy dark brown hair and blue eyes, speaking with a distinct Eastern European accent. During the incident, she was wearing a black coat over a pink pyjama top.
Law enforcement issued a statement seeking witnesses to the sexual assault that occurred between 9pm and 10pm in the park near the underpass. They urged anyone who may have seen the incident, been approached similarly in the park, or can help identify the offender to come forward.
